Anime Squadron Tier List
Rank units by role first, then by tier. The best early-access strategy is to build one main carry, add boss damage, and protect rare materials until a real keeper appears.
How to Use This List
Meta-defining, must-have
Excellent in most situations
Solid role choices
Early or situational use
Replace quickly
Avoid investing
Main Carry
Build one of these first. They clear waves and scale into the late game.

SS TierBest overall unit. Incredible damage, survivability, and scaling.
Rizzuto (Sage)

Boss Damage
Keep a dedicated boss-killer ready once normal waves stop being the only problem.

SS TierMassive burn damage and meteor attacks.
Woo (Shadow)
SS TierShadow Soldier mechanic dominates long fights and Infinite Mode.

Launch Team Recommendations
Balanced Launch Team
Setup: Fastwagon + Gometa + Shinks + Vegata
Good mix of economy, carry damage, and sustain for most content.
Burst / Boss Team
Setup: Gometa + Madora + Woo + Shinks
Maximum damage for speed runs and boss phases. Expensive but devastating.
Budget Start
Setup: Fastwagon + Vegata + Rizzuto + Karashi
Solid team without premium units. Build toward Gometa as you progress.
Important Notes
- This tier list is based on Early Access meta and will change as the game evolves
- Team composition and synergy matter more than individual unit tiers
- Invest in one main carry before spreading resources across your whole squad
- A good trait can make a lower-tier unit outperform a higher-tier one with a bad trait
